I don't necessarily think the ethnicity or nationality of a person is important, however I find the need to disclose that I am American of African and European descent. Although my profile states that I only speak English and as it should be clear from my writings, I still receive an outpour of messages in French, Arabic, Alien etc.
About me.. Outgoing, spontaneous, opinionated, sarcastic, witty, loving, thrill-seeker and super caring, almost to a fault. There's nothing I love more than fishing (weird I know) I ride motorcycles and enjoy most things that involve being outdoors, indoor activities stink!
My parents converted to Islam some 35+ years ago and although I am far from a perfect Muslim I come from an extremely religious and strict upbringing. I am thankful every day to Allah (swt) for guiding my parents to such a beautiful and profound religion and subsequently being born a Muslim. Islam is something I cherish greatly and Insha Allah my hope is to better my understanding of the Quran so I can know exactly what my creator is saying to me, of all the books to read that should be the one we are most impressed with. Without the proper understanding of Allah (swt) words leaves room for great misinterpretation, something we should all take heed to. The Quraan is perfect, we humans unfortunately are not.
